Home Resilience Check is designed to work without an account. The calculator stores plan inputs in the browser so the plan can persist on the same device.

Calculator information

Plan inputs such as household counts, selected services, stored-water quantities, food coverage and electrical loads are stored using browser localStorage in the base site. They are not intended to be sent to a Home Resilience Check user profile or database.

Do not enter names, precise addresses, medical diagnoses, passport numbers, bank details or other unnecessary personal information. The planner does not need them.

Analytics

The deployment configuration ships with analytics disabled and the measurement ID blank. If analytics is enabled, this policy should be kept aligned with the exact service and consent configuration in use.

Advertising and cookies

The deployment configuration ships with AdSense disabled and the publisher ID blank. When Google AdSense is enabled, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar storage and process data according to their policies and the consent choices available to the visitor.

For visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, publishers using personalised Google ads must use a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. The publisher is responsible for configuring the appropriate consent solution before advertising is activated.

The site links to public authorities and other external resources. Visiting those websites is subject to their own privacy policies.
