Home Resilience Check is designed to work without an account. The calculator stores plan inputs in the browser so the plan can persist on the same device.

Calculator information

Plan inputs such as household counts, selected services, stored-water quantities, food coverage and electrical loads are stored using browser localStorage in the base site. They are not intended to be sent to a Home Resilience Check user profile or database.

Do not enter names, precise addresses, medical diagnoses, passport numbers, bank details or other unnecessary personal information. The planner does not need them.

Analytics

Home Resilience Check uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate site usage. On a first visit, optional analytics starts denied and the site asks whether you want to allow analytics. Choosing Allow analytics updates analytics storage to granted; choosing Reject optional keeps it denied. Your analytics choice is stored in this browser and can be changed on this page. Advertising storage remains denied by this analytics choice. When analytics storage is denied, Google may receive limited cookieless measurement signals rather than storing analytics cookies on the device.

Analytics may record ordinary page activity and non-sensitive product interactions such as selecting a scenario preset, copying a generated plan or choosing to print it. Household counts, stored-water/food quantities, electrical-load values and medical-equipment selections are not deliberately sent as custom analytics event parameters.

Advertising and cookies

The site includes the Google AdSense publisher code used for site ownership and advertising eligibility. Ads may be served only when the site/account is approved and according to the advertising and consent settings in effect. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar storage when permitted by the visitor's consent choices and applicable rules.

For visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, publishers using personalised Google ads must use a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. The publisher is responsible for configuring the appropriate consent solution before advertising is activated.
