Common questions

Is limiting resilience a prediction of survival?

No. Limiting resilience and the secondary scenario score are planning outputs based only on the inputs and assumptions shown. Real emergencies vary and official instructions always take priority.

Does the site store my household information?

The calculator saves inputs in your browser so you can return to your plan. The base version does not require an account or send the plan to our server.

Why does the water target change by country?

Because official public guidance differs. We show the relevant country source and calculation instead of hiding the assumption.

Can I use a camping stove indoors during a power cut?

No. Fuel-burning camping stoves, BBQs and portable generators can produce deadly carbon monoxide. Use them only in ways permitted by the manufacturer and official fire-safety guidance.
